Terms of Service

These terms apply to the KDPify app for Windows and Android, this website and our licence service ("KDPify", "we"). KDPify is operated by Med Djelaili, Algeria. By installing or using KDPify you agree to them. Contact: support@kdpify.com.

1. What KDPify does

KDPify helps you plan, illustrate and lay out books and export files for publishing on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). It works with AI services you choose and with KDP's own website. It does not publish anything without your action.

2. Free trial

• Each device gets one free trial, started by registering an email in the app. The trial includes the Publisher features for a limited number of days and a limited number of books, shown in the app.
• Books made during the trial count against the trial limit even if you delete them.
• Trying to get more trials, for example by changing device identifiers or creating new emails, is not allowed.

3. Plans, passes and devices

• Creator and Publisher are paid once and stay active for as long as KDPify is offered, including future updates. A Creator plan can be upgraded to Publisher by paying the difference.
• Week passes give a plan's features for the number of days shown at purchase; buying another pass adds days.
• Your licence is registered to your email and can be used on the number of devices included in your plan. A device stays registered to the first email it was used with. Changing devices is handled through support.
• Your licence is personal: you may not share, resell or transfer it.
• The app checks your licence with our server when it starts and from time to time. It keeps working offline for a few days, after which it needs an internet connection again.

4. Payments and refunds

Prices are shown in the app and on this website. Payment is made through the methods we offer, and your plan is activated once we confirm payment. Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. Your content

• Your books, prompts, images and files are yours, to the extent the law allows for AI-generated material. We do not claim any rights to them.
• You are responsible for what you publish: having the rights to it, following KDP's content guidelines and the terms of the AI services you use, and the accuracy of your listings. KDP decides whether to accept a book; we do not guarantee acceptance or sales.

6. Other services

KDPify connects to services we do not control, including ChatGPT, Gemini, image and text APIs, Promptline and Amazon KDP. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and their availability, limits and output are outside our control. The browser helper fills in KDP forms on your instruction; you remain responsible for checking and submitting your listing.

7. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, crack or bypass KDPify's licensing, interfere with our servers, or use KDPify to break the law or other services' rules. We may suspend or end a licence that is used this way, that was obtained fraudulently, or whose payment was reversed.

8. No warranty and limitation of liability

KDPify is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, rejected books or lost data. Keep backups of your work. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it.

9. Trademarks

Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing and KDP are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. KDPify is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Amazon. Other names belong to their owners.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use KDPify after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Algeria.
