KDPifyPrivacy Policy

This policy explains what KDPify (the Windows and Android app, this website and our licence service) collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. KDPify is operated by Med Djelaili, Algeria. Contact: support@kdpify.com.
What stays on your device
Your books, pages, images, covers, exported files, settings and any AI API keys you enter are stored on your own device. We never receive them.
What we collect, and why
To start your trial, keep your plan working and prevent abuse of the free trial, the app talks to our licence service. It sends and we keep:
- Your email address, which your plan and devices are registered to.
- A device ID: a one-way hash of an identifier your operating system provides (the Windows machine GUID or the Android ID). It cannot be turned back into the original identifier.
- Device details: model and operating system version (for example "Xiaomi … · Android 15"), app version and platform.
- Approximate country, derived from your connection, and a short hash of your IP address, used only to notice many trials coming from one network.
- Licence records: trial dates, the number of books made during the trial, your plan, passes, and a log of changes to your licence.
- Payment records: what you bought, the amount, the payment method and a reference. We do not receive or store card numbers; payments are handled by the payment service you use.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email, and any name or phone number you choose to give us there.
We use this to provide and secure your licence, to prevent fraud and abuse of the free trial, to answer support requests and to keep accounting records. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not build profiles about you.
AI services you choose
When you generate pages or text, the app sends your prompts and reference images directly from your device to the service you selected: ChatGPT or Gemini in your browser, an image or text API with your own key (such as OpenAI or Google), or Promptline. That traffic does not pass through us and is governed by those services' own terms and privacy policies.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the licence service and stores the licence records.
- Payment services (for example RedotPay, BaridiMob or PayPal) process the payments you make with them.
- WhatsApp carries the messages you send us there.
- This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open a page. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers.
How long we keep it
Licence and device records are kept while your licence is in use. If you ask us to delete your data we remove your email, devices and messages, except payment records we must keep for accounting and fraud prevention, which are kept only as long as needed for that.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to support@kdpify.com from the email registered to your licence. Deleting your data ends your licence on all devices.
Children
KDPify is a tool for publishers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
